What Are The Difficulties Jews Have With The Gospels?

& Jews Do Not Believe In Three Gods

  1. Christians worship only one God; 1 Tim. 2:5; Gal. 3:20

  2. The Trinity is found in the Old Testament; Gen 1:26, 11:6,7; Isa 48:16

  3. The word "ONE"  used of God compound unity; Deut 6:4

& God Has No Son

  1. God says He has a Son; Psalm 2:7; Proverbs 30:4

& Our Messiah Will Not Be God

  1. Messiah of Old Testament is God Isa 9:6; Jer 23:5; Mic 5:2

& No Man Can Be God And Man

  1. Old Testament Speaks of God-Man; Psa 45:6,7; 110:1; Isa 9:6

& A Virgin Birth Is Pagan

  1. God created man from the earth; Gen 2:7

  2. God created Eve from Adam; Gen 2:21, 22

  3. Isaac's birth a miracle; Gen 18:11,12

& We believe in two Messiahs

  1. Only one Messiah in foretold work; Zech 12:10

& Christianity is a Gentile religion

  2. Mary was a Jewess; Luke 1:27

  3. Jesus was and is a Jew; Matt 1:1; John 4:9; Rom 1:3

  4. Disciples were Jews; Matt 10:2-4; Acts 3:1

  5. Salvation offered is Jewish; John 4:22

& If I become a Christian, I am no longer a Jew

  1. Jewish believer is a true Jew; Rom 2:28,29

& Christians hate Jews

& Believing Jesus violates the Law

& Our leaders do not believe in Jesus

& We are blamed for Jesus' death

  2. Jews bore false witness; Matt 26:59, 60

  3. Jews insisted on the death penalty; Luke 23:24; John 19:1-22

  5. All responsible are given in acts 4:27; Isa 53:6

  6. Christ gave Himself; John 10:11, 17, 18

& Christians try to convert us; we don't try to convert others

  1. Christians are obedient to God's command; Rom 1:16

  2. Israel is disobedient; Psa 105:1; 107:2; Isa 43:21

& Born a Jew, I want to die a Jew

  1. Nothing can change your nationality; Rom 11:1

  2. You are not changing you religion; Acts 26:6, 7; Rom 2:28, 29; Phil 3:3

& My religion is good enough for my parents and for me

  1. Not like Abraham and his children; Josh 24:14

  2. Not like Ruth the Moabitess; Ruth 1:16, 17

& Christians have so many sects

  1. Many divisions among Jews also

  2. All Orthodox groups believe essentially

  3. Unity with diversity - five fingers but one hand

& Our Messiah is yet to come

  1. Daniel predicted; Daniel 9:24-27

  1. Purpose of His coming; Verse 24

  2. Time of His coming; Verses 25, 26

  3. His Death; Verse 26

  4. Destruction of Jerusalem (70 A.D.); Verse 26

& Each gets to heaven his own way

  1. God has one standard of holiness; Psa 14:1-3; Rom 3:23; 6:23

  2. God has one way of salvation; Joel 2:32; Acts 4:12; Rom 10:12, 13

  3. Only one way to heaven; John 14:6

& Salvation is For Everyone Who Places Faith In What God Has Done.
