JANUARY 2012 HEART CALL
WARNING: "TAKE HEED THAT NO ONE DECEIVE YOU."
MATTHEW 24: 3-4
"While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples
approached Him privately and said, "Tell us, when will these things
happen? And what is the sign of Your coming and of the end of
the age? Then Jesus replied to them: "Take heed (Watch Out)
that no one deceives you."
DECEPTION is prevalent in our world today, and this isn't new, for
we read God's Holy Word the Bible and find throughout it's pages
many acts of deception, with the first and most deadly one being
Adam and Eve being deceived by the devil in the Garden of Eden!
That was the beginning of mankind being drawn into the utter
darkness of deceit, and we find it has continued down through the
ages into our very life time today. Deception must have been
something highly important to guard against since our Lord so
strongly warned us about...being
deceived, and especially as His promised return draws near.
You might not yet fully understand how seriously important Jesus'
warning really was.
Listen to His words in the Gospel of Mark:
"Jesus answering them, began to say: "Take heed that no one deceive
you...for many will come in My name, saying, I am He, and will
deceive many." (Mark 13: 5-6)
Note the warning also He gave in Luke 21: 8..."Take heed that you
not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am
He", and the time has drawn near, therefore, do not go after them."
Tell me, how strong does Jesus have to make His warning to us, for
there not to be an increase of this
deception? He made it very clear in these three verses when He
warned..."Don't Run After Them!" Jesus brought it to even a
clearer understanding when He in Matthew 24: 11 said, "Many false
prophets will rise up and deceive many." Check out these even
more exact words..."Then if anyone says to you, look, here is the
Christ!" Or and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if
possible, even the elect." (vv 23-24)
Jesus' warnings let the disciples know about the seriousness of the
deception to come. So, we can take that to mean that the days
before His coming return, the earth will be heavy with deception!
This deception that has come down to our days, is and has been very
convincing to some, and widespread that even the elect, if not
prepared and knowledgeable could be deceived...if it were possible.
This deception is running rampant, and sad to say, is within the
Evangelical Church today!
These are people that say that the Bible is their authority in
their faith practices. This is what the Bible calls
"Apostasy!" A falling away that results in a false
Christianity, under the control of the "Man of Sin," the
"Antichrist!" 2 Thess. 2: 3 says this..."Let no man deceive
you by any means: For that day shall come, except there come a
falling away..."
Now, it is so that more heavy development of the
Apostasy
takes place after the Rapture of the Church, (2 Thess. 4: 13-18),
there will be many happenings of this apostate religion continuing
to deceive many believers throughout its development...
only because Christians are not standing alert nor prepared, taking
Jesus' warnings of deception serious, that this will continue to
happen.
My Christian friends, know that a certain time in the very near
future, there will be a TOTAL REJECTION OF BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY,
which will be succeeded by the FALSE RELIGION OF THE "ANTICHRIST!"
Most Christians today are strongly ignorant as to what is in the
Bible, as they are too busy with their new technology gadgets to be
bothered with seeking the truth, let alone knowing what the
Scriptures teach. This is very serious,
from this ignorance they become accessible and receptive to false
doctrines taught by false teachers! Being ignorant of what you
believe, leaves the Christian gullible to all of Satan's false
religions. (Take time now, and read Rev. the 13th Chapter for
proof of this as you watch it happening in our very day! )
Don't you know Christian, that Satan's aim is to keep Christians
away from the knowledge of biblical understanding and dependence
upon the Word of God? His very intent is to keep them occupied
with their gadgets, so they will be
FUNCTIONALLY ILLITERATE
concerning what the Bible teaches to be able to discern error!
TELL THE TRUTH...WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU WERE IN A BIBLE STUDY
WITH CHRISTIANS AND GAVE SERIOUS STUDY TO GOD'S WORD? BETTER
STILL, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU PICKED UP THE BIBLE TO READ IT?
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR CHRISTIAN INFORMATION? CERTAINLY FROM
WEBSITES SUCH AS THIS ONE THAT WILL HONESTLY TEACH THE TRUTH OF
GOD'S WORD. IGNORANCE OF WHAT GOD'S WORD TEACHES, IS WHERE THE
ADVERSARY WANTS CHRISTIANS...BIBLICALLY SHALLOW FUNCTIONING, WITH
LITTLE OR NO CONCERN ABOUT TRUE BIBLICAL DOCTRINE. MANY
CHRISTIANS TODAY HAVE TRULY WEANED THEMSELVES FROM THE TRUE
DOCTRINAL WORDS OF SCRIPTURAL TRUTH! THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR
ITS TEACHINGS, THEREFORE, THEY ARE IGNORANT OF WHAT IT TEACHES. I
PRAY YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THESE. GET IN THE BIBLE, STUDY AND KNOW
IT!
